Czesc,

mam dongla usb -> rs232 na chipie prolific 2303.
Po wpieciu do portu usb kernel wrzeszczy

usb 1-7.2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 9
usb 1-7.2: device descriptor read/64, error -71 address 10
usb 1-7.2: device not accepting address 11, error -71
hub 1-7:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 2

itp.

Oczywiscie urzadzenie /dev/ttyUSB0 nie powstaje.

Natomiast jesli zrestartuje maszyne bez wyjmowania
dongla z portu, to dziala pieknie.

Macie pomysly o co chodzi? Czym sytucja wlozenia
dongla do portu na dzialajacym systemie rozni sie
od wykrycia tego urzadzenia w porcie po (re)starcie
kernela?

Kwestia zgodnosci wersji USB albo inicjalizacji portu?

dzieki z gory za wszelkie sugestie, P

ps, btw, kolega ma identyczny problem z interfejsem
ethernet na thunderbolcie.
